Bloom
Update
No cut your own lavender this season!
Due to the drought this winter and spring we are experiencing a below average bloom this season and will not be offering Cut Your Own Lavender. We invite you to come out and enjoy our farm, but do not want you to be disappointed by the lack of blooms. There will be many wonderful products to enjoy, even if there is not much lavender. Please take this into account when you are planning you trip.
Farm Opening:
May 21st - July 10th
Fri & Sat 10 -4
Sun 12 - 4
Also Thursday June 9th 10-4
Cut Your Own Lavender generally runs late May into July. You can come tour our beautiful lavender farm for free, and if you want to cut your own during cutting season it is $5 per bunch. We will explain how big a bunch is and how to cut the lavender when you get to the farm. While you are here you can also enjoy our unique store snuggled into the lavender field with over 70 different lavender products to choose from, including linen spray, soap, lotions, and herbs to cook with.
Lavender Lunch
We offer lunches for groups upon request. The lunches includes a
sandwich, chips, cookie, bottled water and lavender lemonade. We
charge $15.00 per person for the lunches and $20.00 per person if
you would like lunch and a talk by the new owner, about the history
of Hill Country Lavender and how to grow lavender in your own yard.
Lunches are served under the beautiful large live oak in the top part of the field, with wonderful views of the lavender fields and the surrounding Texas Hill Country.
You must give us one week notice for any lunches at the farm. To request information on Lavender lunch reservations and any other events, please email us at info@hillcountrylavender.com.
